La chanson "What The Wind May Carry"

"What The Wind May Carry" est la deuxième chanson de l'album "High Walls". Son titre français est : "Ce que le vent peut emporter".
Elle a été composée en 1993 et terminée en 1995, au moment de l'enregistrement. C'est un de mes touts premiers enregistrements avec le 4 pistes Tascam au premier trimestre 1995. J'avais envie de faire une chanson dans l'esprit Rock Progressif (Genesis, Yes, Jethro Tull...). Elle est donc en 6/8 avec des changements de tonalité et des parties solos où j'ai pris beaucoup de plaisir !
Au niveau des paroles, j'aborde la thématique du vent et de ce qu'il apporte comme idées (et la confusion qui en découle), thématique souvent utilisée en chanson dans le rock (Blowin' in the Wind...). La "Coast of Crey" est un endroit imaginaire inspiré des falaises normandes.
Sur cette chanson, on trouve une guitare acoustique, deux parties de guitare électrique (rythme et solo), une nappe de claviers, la basse et le rythme faits sur le clavier.

This song has been written in 1993 and finished in 1995, when I recorded it.
It's one of the very first recordings with the 4-Track Tascam at the beginning of 1995. I wanted to play a song in the mood of Progressive Rock (Genesis, Yes, Jethro Tull...). It's a 6/8 time signature song, with chords changes and guitar solos I really liked to play !
Lyrically, it's obviously about the wind and the ideas that are carried, and the confusion in it, often used in rock (Blowin' in the Wind...). The "Coast of Crey" is an imaginary place inspired by the cliffs in Normandy.
On this song, there is an acoustic guitar, two electric guitars (rhythm and solo), some keyboards strings, and bass and drums played on the keyboard.
